SoCal pop-punk outfit Unwritten Regulation fired longtime guitarist Rob Brewer last week following an onstage fracas that left frontman Scott Russo with one less tooth. Unwritten Regulation spawned just a few scene hits, like “Lonesome” and “Cailin.” In early 2002, the band issued its fourth full-size, the less punk, extra onerous rock Elva. I like Unwritten Regulation, and I will play for so long as folks wish to see it, however I have five different acts that I participate in, and then I produce and ghostwrite.
